An international company has acquired a Ukrainian wine producer and plans to develop the brand; this is the first such deal in 15 years.

Ukraine has become the primary market for Moldova's alcohol exports.

Founded in 2020, Ukrainian wine producer 46 Parallel has become part of the international group of companies Vinos de la Luz. After an agreement was signed in December 2024, 100% of 46 Parallel shares was transferred to new owners.

As noted by Anna Gorkun, the founder of the premium Ukrainian wine brand 46 Parallel, this is a significant event not only for the company itself but also for the Ukrainian economy as a whole. The very fact that during the war, a foreign investor has bought a Ukrainian business and intends to develop it with a Ukrainian team and supports the brand’s philosophy of remaining Proudly Ukrainian is a victory and a huge achievement.

46 Parallel has become the first Ukrainian wine producer to attract foreign investment in the last 15 years. With the agreement, the 46 Parallel Wine Group brands (including Grand Admiral, El Capitan, and Apostrophe) are now part of the global portfolio of Vinos de La Luz.
