Ukrainian defense start-up Himera, which creates tactical communication devices for the Armed Forces, has attracted $525,000 in investment from the United Angels Network and several private investors.
The founders of the startup are Mykhailo Rudominskyi and Oleksiy Oliynyk, and they have a team of 20 people. The startup has already received $100,000 in investment from the German Freedom Fund VC.
The startup’s plan for 2024 is to release the next version of its product and receive a government order. The next model of the Himera G1 Pro walkie-talkie is ready to enter the market. It will be slightly more expensive than the company’s first version, but still much less expensive than civilian Motorola radio stations or military applications. In addition, the startup develops peripheral products such as repeaters.
“The big task for this year is to move from the level of radio stations to a full-fledged communication system,” say Himera’s founders.
