A leader in Polish commercial real estate, the Newgate Investment Fund belongs to the founder of the chain of Comfy stores, Stanislav Ronis. The value of the company’s portfolio is already estimated at €300M.
The fund specializes not only in the purchase of new objects but also in the modernization of existing shopping centers, increasing their profitability. Examples of these investments are Wysockiego Park Handlowy in Białystok, with a rental area of more than 16,000 square meters, or Galeria Sieradzka in the city of Sieradz, with an area of almost 9,000 square meters. By the end of the year, the fund plans to purchase several more properties with a total value of €80M.
The company focuses on shopping centers in cities with more than 20,000 inhabitants, as the market for large shopping centers in Poland is already saturated. However, smaller towns need modern commercial spaces. The company’s portfolio comprises 33 retail properties in various Polish cities with a total leasable area of over 150,000 square meters and 100% occupancy.
