The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has allowed the Cypriot company, GNG Retail Limited, which owns the OKKO Group holding, to acquire Wind Power GSI Volyn and Wind Power GSI Volyn 3.

These companies intend to build a 150 MW wind power plant in the Volodymyr district of the Volyn region. Implementing this project will help the company become one of the leaders in Ukrainian wind energy. OKKO is also considering the possibility of purchasing solar power plants.

Wind Power GSI Volyn, which is a company affiliated with Wind Power GSI, belongs to the Greenville Energy group of companies  and is part of the closed, non-diversified Greenville venture corporate investment fund.

Also, despite the war, at the end of 2023 the region’s largest, €54M wind power plant (54 MW) began operating in the Truskavetsk community of Lviv. During the year of its operation, budget revenues generated by the project will amount to about ₴2M.
