Ukrainian company Energo-Plus Scientific and Production Enterprise, which previously announced its intention to transport a new 60 MW TPP from Turkey and install it in Ukraine, is looking for a private investor to implement this project, company director Yevhen Korf said.
“The main problem is that the owner company insists on 100% payment for the TPP’s cost, and our Turkish partners, who are ready to transport the TPP, want to receive an advance payment of 50-70% of the cost of the work,” he explained.
According to him, it is necessary to make an advance payment in the amount of 85-90% of the total cost of the station and its relocation, which is “practically unrealistic for any of the state-owned enterprises’ financing,” said Korf.
He gave his assurance that the facility is 90% ready, and that 100% of the components are already in the station’s warehouse. The estimated cost of the project is €50M. The TPP can be transported to Ukraine in 8-12 months.
