Zelenskyy, with allies, wants to create a plan to end the war in a few months.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine and its allies should, within a few months, develop an action plan based on the results of the Swiss Peace Summit that would force Russia to make peace. The President emphasized that the war should not last for years, and the plan for its settlement should be ready for the second Peace Summit.

Zelenskyy also added that he is not in contact with Vladimir Putin because he “has no plan, except one – to drag out the war as long as possible.” However, the president noted that dialogue with Russia can be conducted by Ukraine’s partners.

Regarding the next peace talks, Ukraine plans to hold the second Peace Summit in Saudi Arabia by the end of the year. The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, is preparing for the “face-to-face meetings with the Russians.”

As The Time recalls, Zelenskyy said after returning from the first summit, “there will be no pauses.” Ukraine also stated that the Russian Federation could participate in the second summit.
