Sweden and Lithuania are preparing investments in Ukrainian long-range weapon production.

Zelenskyy: Ukraine has received only 43% of the military aid that the US has approved.

Ukraine has received only $76B out of almost $177B in approved US military assistance.

“We received it not in money, but in weapons – we received weapons worth more than $70B. This is a significant amount of help, but it is not the $200B they are discussing,” said President Zelenskyy.

Meanwhile, according to an analysis by the American Enterprise Institute, Russia’s victory would cost American taxpayers an additional $808 billion, surpassing the US’ planned defense spending over the next five years. This amount is about 600% greater than the total assistance that the Pentagon has provided to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion in 2022. This estimate is based on a scenario where the US halts assistance to Ukraine, resulting in a Russian victory that compels Washington to change its defense policy and strategy.

Analysts assert that without US support, Russia will capture Kyiv by the end of 2026, and after regrouping and gaining strength using Ukraine’s resources, it will position its troops along NATO’s borders, and will be prepared to launch attacks outside Ukraine by 2030.
