The Russian dictator Putin wants to destroy Ukraine, and after that, other countries bordering the Russian Federation may become targets of his aggression, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in Vilnius.
“He wants to occupy us completely. The uncertainty of our allies providing financial and military aid adds to the courage and strength of the Russian Federation. We must understand that Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Moldova may be next if we do not defend our state. He will not stop until we all stop him together,” Zelenskyy said.
After Lithuania, the Ukrainian leader went to Latvia and Estonia. Estonia has announced it will provide Ukraine with €1.2B in aid through 2027. Estonian President Alar Karis added that his country will allocate 0.25% of its GDP to Ukraine’s defense needs in the coming years.
“There should not be any restrictions on the weapons transferred to Ukraine. We must increase military production within the EU,” Karis emphasized.
