On November 8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting to deliver the concept of reformulating the Cabinet of Ministers, and the president foresees a reduction in the number of ministries and staff. It is planned that the new government structure will have 14 ministries instead of 20. It is also expected to reduce the maximum number of ministry staff as well as the workforce of other central executive bodies significantly, to levels one-half or even one-third their current size. Coordinating strategies and programs will be handled by the Center of Government, directly subordinate to the Prime Minister.
