White House: Russia’s attempt to demoralize Ukrainians will fail again.

The White House to Seek $11.7B in additional aid for Ukraine.

As Russia struggles on the battlefield, it is increasingly turning to horrific attacks against the Ukrainian people with punishing strikes designed to damage energy grid infrastructure and deliberately cutting electrical supplies as winter approaches. These strikes do not appear to serve any military purpose and instead further the Putin regime’s goal of increasing the suffering and death toll of Ukrainian men, women, and children, said National Security Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson. It also demonstrates Russia’s willingness to increase the risk of a nuclear safety incident that could not only further harm Ukraine but also affect the entire region. “The US and our allies will continue to provide Ukraine with what it needs to defend itself, including air defense. Russia continues to underestimate the strength and resolve of the Ukrainian people, and its attempt to demoralize them will fail yet again,” Watson said.
