As of February 2024, 3,635 Polish companies are operating in Ukraine. Profits from the business activities of these companies can amount to significant amounts. Less than half of them have published their financial statements for 2022 and have more than ₴63B in total revenue for the year. The total amount of profit generated by the activities of these Polish companies operating in Ukraine can amount to ₴100-120B per year.
According to experts, more than 50% of Polish companies operate in Kyiv or the Lviv region. About 31% of the studied Polish companies in Ukraine are involved in wholesale and retail trade, 17% in the processing industry. The most common activity, more than 8% of companies, is professional, scientific, and technical. About 7% of enterprises work in administrative and auxiliary services.
The five companies with the largest amount of authorized capital with Polish investments include Kredobank, the Private Investments financial company, Barlin Invest, Cersanit Invest, and Raben Ukraine.
