Vahram Stepanyan, a veteran of reform programs in Hungary and Romania, is the new IMF resident representative in Ukraine.

A native of Armenia, Stepanyan most recently served with the IMF in the United Arab Emirates. Goesta Ljungman, the IMF representative here for the last four years, is returning to Washington in a routine rotation.
