United Mining and Chemical Company (UMCC), which manages the Volnogorsky Integrated Mining and Metallurgical Plant and Irshansky Integrated Mining and Processing Plant, increased its sales income by 47%, up to UAH 202,59B ($7.25B) through 2021. The company’s EBITDA in 2021 increased by 93% compared to 2020 – up to UAH 940.8M. According to Egor Perelygin, the chairman of the board at UMCC, the main reasons for the EBITDA growth are the optimization of sales policies, the implementation of electronic auctions for the sale of products. These two factors have resulted in a significant increase in revenues and led to the highest profitability ever achieved.
