Ukrainian transmission system operator (TSO) Ukrenergo and Romanian TSO Transelecrtrica S.A. have updated the agreement on the operation of the transmission system according to the rules of the European power transmission network ENTSO-E. The renewed agreement fully corresponds to the requirements of ENTSO-E network codes and the framework agreement on the synchronous zone between transmission system operators ENTSO-E (SAFA). Operation agreements between Ukrenergo and neighboring European transmission system operators are one of the prerequisites for integrating the Ukrainian energy system into ENTSO-E,” the statement said.
Ukrenergo and Transelecrtrica S.A. renewed their operating agreement.
Ukraine finally is a member of the EU energy system, ENTSO-E.
