For the first three quarters of 2021, Ukravtodor suffered a loss of UAH 118 mln ($4.37 mln), according to the financial reports (marlin.gov.ua). The state-owned company’s losses were due to insufficient revenues from customers for road repairs and maintenance, the blocking of the company’s accounts, and the inability to participate in tenders. The losses were also due to the cost of maintaining production bases, which were dormant. Ukravtodor owns UAH 6.4 bln ($237 mln) in assets and holds UAH 3.6 bln ($133 mln) in debt. From 2018, the number of assets decreased by UAH 100 mln, and the number of liabilities increased by UAH 400 mln.
