Citizens of Ukraine were urged to refrain from traveling to Kazakhstan due to the protests that engulfed the country. “In connection with the introduction of the state of emergency in Almaty city, Almaty and Mangistau regions from January 5 to January 19, 2022, we recommend refraining from traveling to Kazakhstan”, said the Embassy of Ukraine in Kazakhstan.
