In December, Ukrainians purchased and registered a record 10,500 new passenger cars in the last month of 2021. This is the largest number of new car registrations in December since 2014, said UkrAvtoprom. In total, 103,300 new passenger cars received Ukrainian license plates last year, which is 21% more than in 2020, the associations added.
The top leading car brands sold in 2021 are:
- Toyota 15,232 cars, (+14% more than in 2020)
- Renault 13,475 cars (-6%)
- Kia 9138 cars (+50%)
- Skoda 6172 cars (+22%)
- Nissan 4815 registrations (+26%).
