In the last three days, the State Border Guard Service recorded a significant net influx of those crossing its western border into Ukraine, totaling 29,000. At the same time, from the end of September to the first half of December, a net average weekly outflow of 10,000 was recorded. Poland’s border service also recorded a net influx of 25,000 people into Ukraine over the past three days. According to Ukrainian border guards, the net inflow increase in recent days is due to a decrease in the outflow of people and an increase in the number of those entering. As well, the number of cars crossing the border dropped to 14,000 from the traditional 18,000 to 20,000 during the last two days. As of December 27, queues of passenger buses were not recorded in both directions.
