More than 80% of Ukrainian window factories have resumed production. Up to 10% of production facilities are in territories occupied by Russian troops. Several others are inactive hostility zones. “In March, the plants were practically out of order. Units were produced in the western and central regions – up to 10% of the total load. So far, more than 80% of the plants have been restored – all where possible,” said executive director of the Window Association, Oleksiy Bubnov. He added, “For the next month, the production plants have enough materials, including glass and other components. However, when the demand for windows increases in May, we may face an acute shortage of glass and profile.”
