Ukrainian refugees have returned to the EU after the holidays.

According to data from the State Border Guard Service, the net outflow of people from Ukraine in the week after the end of the New Year and Christmas holidays reached 62,000 people. The flow of people leaving Ukraine from January 7 to 13 increased to 284,000 people, compared to 221,000 the previous week. At the same time, the flow of people entering Ukraine decreased from 236,000 to 222,000 per week. The Polish Border Service also recorded a significant net outflow from Ukraine over the past seven days – 51,000 people, compared to a net inflow into Ukraine of 60,000 over the previous three weeks. Since the beginning of the war, 9.16 million Ukrainians arrived in Poland from Ukraine, while 7.33 million went in the opposite direction.
