Ukrainian import volumes are twice as large as exports.

According to the State Customs Service, $46.6B worth of goods were imported into Ukraine in the first nine months of the current year, and $27.1B were exported from Ukraine. Taxed imports during this period amounted to $38.3B, or 82% of the total volume of imported goods.

In the first three quarters of the year, Ukraine imported the most goods from China – $7.4B; Poland – $4.9B; Turkey – $3.7B. Ukraine exported the most to Poland – $3.7B; Romania- for $3B; Turkey – by $1.9B.

65% of imported goods were machines, equipment, and transport ($14.1B), chemical industry products ($8.4B), and fuel and energy products ($7.9B). The most exported goods were food products ($16.1B), metals and their products ($3B), machines, equipment, and transport ($2.3B). Ukraine’s turnover amounted to $73.7B.
