The Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated and completely cleared the village of Bezsalivka in the Sumy region from Russian troops. At the same time, according to the DeepState OSINT project, Russian forces have advanced near the settlement of Dachne in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to control it. Advances have also been made in Zeleny Gay (west of Dachne) and in the Serebryansk Forest.
In July, according to British intelligence, Russian troops may have captured between 500-550 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory. The enemy captured the same amount in June. “Russian troops have now occupied almost the entire territory of Donetsk Oblast south of Pokrovsk”, the British Ministry of Defense said.
Meanwhile, it is noted that over the past two weeks, the Russians have not achieved any significant success in the Sumy region. Ongoing losses and Ukrainian counterattacks have likely thwarted Russian plans to create a buffer zone.
