Ukrainian farmers have received ₴62.9B in loans since the beginning of the year, and banks have received ₴38B in loan applications for energy infrastructure restoration projects.

Ukrainian farmers have received ₴62.9B in loans since the beginning of the year, and banks have received ₴38B in loan applications for energy infrastructure restoration projects.

Since the start of the year, 9,075 farmers have received ₴62.9B in bank loans. Farmers from the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions received the largest loans under various programs.

Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian entrepreneurs have received 13,394 preferential loans under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program, totaling ₴50.8B. The government is gradually updating the affordable loan program. Recently, the program for restoring commercial energy generation capabilities was expanded, particularly for purchasing SPPs and cogeneration plants.

NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshnyi reported that from June 1 to July 21, the total value of all loan applications received by banks for the restoration of energy infrastructure amounted to ₴38B ($926M). In the last week alone banks received ₴7B in loan applications. Since June 1, banks have approved ₴3B in applications.
