Ukrainian consumer’s mood slightly improved in July.

The consumer sentiment index in Ukraine in July amounted to 73.2 points, which is 1.1 points higher than in June, according to the monthly survey by Info Sapiens. The index of the current situation decreased and is 37.2, which is 1.1 points lower than the indicator’s level in June. The index of economic expectations increased by 2.5 points to 97.2 points. In July, the index of expected unemployment dynamics increased by 3.7 points and is 146.4 points. The index of inflation expectations increased by 0.6 points and is 183 points. The expectations of Ukrainians regarding the hryvnia exchange rate over the next three months have worsened: the index of devaluation expectations has increased by 5.4 points to 157.5 points. Moreover, expectations for unemployment, inflation, and devaluation also worsened.
