 Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said coal production has fallen by about 30% since the war began. According to the minister, Ukraine lost control over two mines, Zolote and Toshkivska. As a result, the mines were flooded and could not be recovered. There is also a threat of flooding of the Pivdennodonbaska-1 coal mine. Moreover, there are questions about coal mining in terms of its shipment. There is the shelling of railway tracks, and there is not always the possibility for export. Moreover, Natural gas production by state and private Ukrainian companies decreased by 15% during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
