Ukrainian banks finalize more than 10 deals valued at nearly €1.5B in Rome.

During URC2025 held on July 10-11 in Rome, Ukrainian banks completed a record number of transactions with foreign partners, totaling almost €1.5B. Leading participants in conference activity include PrivatBank, Ukrgasbank, Ukreximbank, Oschadbank, Credit Agricole, Lviv Bank, Piraeus Bank, and Kredobank.

As stated by the Chairman of the NBU, Andriy Pyshnyy, all of these funds will be used to lend to Ukrainian businesses, finance social initiatives, develop municipalities, and improve community energy efficiency.

Additionally, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund signed a €40.5M grant agreement with German development bank KfW as part of the SME Resilience Facility project. The project aims to support the resilience of entrepreneurs from de-occupied and war-affected areas, where lending risks are the highest. These funds will initiate a new program from the fund, which will be combined with the State Program Affordable Loans 5-7-9% to support businesses that, despite wartime challenges, continue to operate, create jobs, and rebuild their communities.
