Ukraine and Poland will set up a joint logistics company to increase the volume of Ukrainian exports by rail in the face of Russia’s blockade of Black Sea ports. The relevant memorandum was signed on April 23 in Krakow by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and the Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, reported Ukrainian Railways (UZ). Ukraine and Poland have agreed to work together to increase freight across Ukraine’s western border. Work on the joint venture will begin immediately. “By blocking Ukrainian ports, Russia is trying to provoke a global food crisis. We must prevent this,” said Denys Shmyhal.
