Ukrainian agricultural holding, Continental Farmers Group, which belongs to the Saudi state fund Salic, bought a new elevator, designed to work with all grain and oil crops and able to ship up to 45 wagons per day by rail. The one-time storage capacity of the elevator is 120,000 tons. With it, the total volume of all “Continental” storage capacities increases to 634,000 tons.

The expansion took place in the region, which, considering the significant volume of the land bank, was not sufficiently covered by its own granaries: until now, only three small “Continental” drying and grain storage complexes with a total capacity of 31,000 tons were operating in the Lviv region.

“Continental” continues to implement its development strategy and invests in additional storage capacities despite the difficult economic situation in the country,” commented the general director of Continental, Georg von Nolcken.

Continental Farmers Group also owns elevator capacities in the Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
