Ukraine’s trade turnover in the first quarter amounted to $26B.

According to data from the State Customs Service, during the first three months of 2024, Ukraine imported goods worth $16B and exported $10B. At the same time, taxed imports amounted to $13.8B, which is 86% of the total volume of imported goods.

Among the countries from which the most goods were imported to Ukraine: China – $3B, Poland – $1.6B, and Germany – $1.3B. Ukraine exported the most to Poland – $992M, Spain – $813M, and China – $789M.

65% of the total volume of imported goods was machines, equipment and transport – $5.3B; chemical industry products – $3B; fuel and energy products – $2B. Food products – $6.5B, metals and metal products – $1.1B, and mineral products – $924M are among the top three most exported Ukrainian goods.

To compare, in 2023 Ukraine’s trade turnover amounted to $99.4B. The country imported goods worth $63.5B and exported $36B during the year.
