During a meeting with representatives of the largest US investment agencies, JP Morgan, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal talked about Ukraine’s most promising investment areas. According to him, the most promising areas for investment are energy, the agricultural sector, natural resources, digital technologies, and infrastructure restoration sectors. The Ukrainian government is creating the most favorable investment environment by canceling unnecessary licenses and permits and minimizing requirements for investment projects with significant investments. In addition, the UkraineInvest office under the Cabinet of Ministers is currently supporting eight large projects for a total of $1.35B, the head of government added. In addition, Shmyhal emphasized that Ukraine is working on war risk insurance and obtaining investment guarantees, and there are already agreements with the MIGA group of the World Bank.
