- “I need more arguments”: Zelenskyy’s request for additional evidence to justify the military’s insistence on the additional mobilization of 450-500,000 people.
- “The US will not betray us”: Zelenskyy expressing his opinion that Western countries will continue to assist Ukraine.
- Zelenskyy denied the existence of a conflict with Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. He also categorically denied the possibility of Ukraine’s defeat in the war – “Strategy is unchanged. We will return to the borders of 1991.”
- Budapest’s policy towards Ukraine is “not very friendly,” Zelenskyy admitted but added that a meeting should be organized.
- Gradual entry into NATO – “delusion”: the president said that Ukraine has never received such an offer from any of its partners.
- Zelenskyy declared that he would not support the draft law that would make the mobilization of women possible. But he said that he might mobilize younger people, from the age of 25.
- The war in the Middle East: the president believes that the refocused attention it has caused harms assistance for Ukraine – “Russia has succeeded here, on the diplomatic field.”
