According to 2022’s results, exports from EU countries to Ukraine increased again to the level before the start of the war in February last year. According to Eurostat, the EU’s trade with Ukraine has suffered dramatically since the beginning of the Russian invasion. The first significant disruption was recorded in February-March 2022 when Ukraine’s share decreased in imports and exports (by 40% and 56%, respectively). However, in December 2022, Ukraine’s share of European exports exceeded the pre-war level (1.5% in December compared to 1.2% in February 2022), while in imports, it remained somewhat lower (1% compared to 1.1%).
