Ukraine’s trade turnover for January-October 2023 is $82B, the State Customs Service reported. During this period, Ukraine imported goods worth $52.2B and exported $29.8B. At the same time, taxed imports amounted to $43.4B, 83% of the total volume of imported goods.
The countries with the most imported goods were China with $8.4B, Poland with $5.5B, and Germany with $4.1B. Ukraine exported the most to Poland – $4.1B, Romania $3.3B, and Turkey $2B.
In the total volume of goods imported in January-October, the following categories accounted for 65% of the total: machines, equipment, and transport – $16B, chemical industry products – $9.3B, and fuel and energy products – $8.7B. The three most exported goods from Ukraine included food products – $17.7B, metals and products from them – $3.3B, and machines, equipment, and transport – $2.5B.
