Ukraine's agro-industry leaders increased their income by 35% over the last year.

Ukraine's accession to the EU will solve the food problem and stimulate the development of the bloc's economy.

The total income of the ten leading companies in the agricultural sector increased by 35% in 2023, according to the Opentabatot Index. Market leaders earned almost ₴86.6B, a third more than in 2022 and almost 50% more than before the start of the full-scale war.

Companies from the MHP group, Kernel group, and Ukrprominvest group were included in the index. They reported the largest profits among all businesses on the list.

At the same time, 46% of the top ten’s total income accounts for four poultry breeding companies. Myronivska Poultry Factory (from the MHP Group) topped the rating with an income of ₴21.43B. The combined income of the group’s three companies amounted to ₴34.32B, 40% of the aggregate income of the agricultural sector leaders.

The second step is occupied by the Lebedyn seed plant of the LNZ Group of companies with a share of 18%. Two companies from the Kernel group earned ₴14.71B (share – 17%). Two companies from the Ukrprominvest group were also included in the index, earning ₴11.35B (13% of total income).
