At an external meeting in the Kherson region, the Government decided to provide UAH 6.6B ($180M) from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression for the implementation of over 150 projects in eight regions of Ukraine, announced Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. The funds will be used to repair and construct schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and residential buildings, as well as provide for construction and reconstruction of water mains and sewers, heating networks, and the drilling of artesian wells.

Separately, the government will send another UAH 4.4B in subventions to local budgets for the design, restoration, construction, and modernization of social, cultural, housing, and communal facilities. Of these, almost UAH 460M is destined for the Kherson region and over UAH 190M for the Mykolaiv region.

In addition, the government allocated UAH 980M to compensate for damaged housing due to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP and UAH 560M to pay assistance to the victims.
