By the end of 2022, plans are in place to open three crossing points across the state border in the west of Ukraine: Nyzhankovychy on the border with Poland, as well as Krasnoilsk and Dyakivtsi on the border with Romania, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayem said. According to the deputy, the Krasnoilsk-Vykovu-de-Sous point will be launched gradually starting in October. The Nyzhankovychi point will initially be available for the passage of empty vehicles only. The deputy minister hopes that the Uzhhorod–Vyshne Nimetske checkpoint will be put into operation in the first quarter of next year. Thanks to the opening of these new checkpoints, it will be possible to increase throughput by 25-30% and create better conditions for workers and those who cross the border.
