Ukraine will focus on the development of critical raw materials.

According to the Minister of Environmental Protection, Ruslan Strilets, the most important task for Ukraine is to make the extraction of minerals more environmentally friendly with the involvement of new modern technologies (Green mining) and to minimize its carbon footprint. Strilets added that currently, 12 Ukrainian organizations and scientific institutions have joined the pan-European industrial alliances European Raw Materials Alliance and European Battery Alliance. A beta version of an interactive online map of Ukrainian strategic minerals has already been created, covering information on licenses, deposits, and ore occurrences with more than 1,000 sites. Ukraine and the EU have agreed to strengthen efforts to collect and digitize relevant environmental information and ensure convenient access to it by investors from the EU and other global investors.
