Having secured political consent from its partner countries, Ukraine will continue grain exports with its allies despite the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the grain agreement, said the press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The UN estimates that grain shortages and rising food prices put 50 million people at risk of starvation. The Russian aggressor threatens the survival of entire nations in Africa and the Middle East with its actions.

Before the war, Ukraine was the world’s fifth-largest exporter of grain. Russia’s blockade of Ukrainian ports has led to a global increase in grain prices.
