Commercial director of the Spike Brokers brokerage company, Oleksandr Solovei, said that for six months of the current marketing year, an average of up to four million tons of agricultural products will be shipped monthly.
“Today’s pace of shipment by all transport types tells us that exports will be in sufficient quantity. It is even possible to reach the mark of 20 million tons by the end of 2023,” the expert noted.
At the same time, an increasingly important factor for the Ukrainian agricultural producer is the need to plan sales for more than six months in the direction of the European market, as since the Russian invasion, 60-70% of Ukrainian agricultural exports are exported to or transit through the EU.
