Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal stated at the Yalta European Strategy forum that more than UAH 60B has already been allocated for Ukraine’s rapid rebuilding. This included funds for demining, restoring homes, and restoring and protecting critical infrastructure.

As well, according to the prime minister, Ukraine is offering its partners a special compensation mechanism for attracting financing for the reconstruction of the country.

The mechanism will have three components. The first is a compensation fund, into which funds confiscated from Russian oligarchs and Russia will be directed. It is also planned to create a compensation commission to determine how to use the funds effectively. The third component will be the international register of losses, allowing Ukraine to compensate for all the losses it suffered through Russian aggression.
