Ukraine seeks G7’s help in liberalizing international road freight transport.

The Minister of Infrastructure, Alexander Kubrakov said that the ministry is counting on the assistance of the G7 countries in launching a negotiation process on the liberalization of international road haulage. Over the last four years, trade between Ukraine and the EU has increased by more than 60% and continues growing. However, Ukrainian exports are being artificially restricted on our borders with the EU due to a shortage of truck permits. We want to resolve this issue to avoid a trade crisis, move away from the policy of restriction and deterrence, as well as significantly expand opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and the G7 countries.
