Ukraine needs to be a part of the EU and become a NATO member.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivers his speech during the Munich Security Conference

President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that Ukraine needs to be allowed to join the EU and NATO, which will be genuine assistance. “We see lots of support; however, we need more than words and empty promises. We have been told: the door is open. But so far, authorized access only. We see that not all members of the Alliance want to see us as a member. Let’s be honest.”, said Zelensky during his speech at the Munich Security Conference. Just a reminder, three years ago, Angela Merkel said: “Who will pick up the wreckage of the world order? Only all of us, together.” The audience gave a standing ovation. But unfortunately, the collective applause did not grow into collective action. Also, Ukraine has received security guarantees for abandoning the world’s third-largest nuclear capability. “We don’t have that weapon, we also have no security, and we lost part of our territory.”, said the president of Ukraine.
