Ukraine’s metallurgical losses from the Russian war are 30-40% of their pre-war capacity, as stated by the General Director of Metinvest, Yuri Ryzhenkov. “Mariupol’s metallurgical plants alone have more than a third of Ukraine’s steel production,” he said.
