Ukraine is increasing grain exports by 50% every month.

To address the global food crisis caused by Russia’s seaport blockade, Ukraine is increasing its grain exports across its western borders by 50% every month, announced the Ministry of Infrastructure. The Ministry stated that in the present blockade conditions, they are working daily on reorientating their export logistics to land and away from the sea, particularly to the western borders of Ukraine with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Moldova. Ukraine is rushing to export the previous year’s harvest because its grain elevators are still full, and the new crop will start to be harvested in the next two months. The government is attempting to reach the expected average monthly export volume of grains the country had through its seaports.
