Ukraine is already working with the Trump team on a peace agreement draft, and the US-Russian talks are scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia.

President Zelenskyy announced the commencement of work with US President Donald Trump’s team and expressed optimism about achieving peace. The US is now viewed as a powerful force capable not only of halting the war but also of ensuring lasting peace following it conclusion.

“We had a productive phone conversation with Trump, alongside a significant meeting with VP Vance and Secretary of State Rubio at the Munich Conference. We are looking forward to General Kellogg visiting Ukraine soon to further assess the situation and explore effective, true peace-making solutions,” Zelensky noted.

Meanwhile, Trump announced discussions in Saudi Arabia this week between representatives of the US, Ukraine, and Russia aimed at ending the war. The talks’ objective is to arrange a meeting between the three leaders.

However, Zelenskyy stated that he was unaware of this development. The President’s Office indicated that Ukraine would not participate in the proposed meeting, as there is currently “nothing on the negotiating table that can be discussed.”
