Ukraine has launched an electronic queue at 16 EU border points.

The electronic border crossing system is expanding to 16 crossing points in the western direction for all types of transport, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

Truck drivers can use eCherga from next week, bus drivers from July, and car owners from August.

It is noted that eCherga will simplify the border crossing procedure for Ukrainian travelers and businesses and minimize losses due to reduced cargo downtime at the border. The use of the electronic queue is free.

Currently, eCherga works only for freight transport at the Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoint on the border of Ukraine and Poland. It was launched at the end of last year.
