As of August 31, farmers throughout all regions of Ukraine threshed more than 33 million tons of new harvest, 29.2 million tons of grain, and more than four million tons of oil crops. The largest amount comes from the Odesa Region – 3.2 million tons, but the highest yield of cereals and legumes is recorded in the Khmelnytskyi Region.
In addition, as of September 1 Ukraine has exported 4.5 million tons of grain and leguminous crops in the current marketing season. In particular, 1.9 million tons of wheat, 480,000 tons of barley, 600 tons of rye, and two million tons of corn. Ukraine also sent 23,900 tons of flour to foreign markets.
It is noteworthy that for the entire past marketing year (from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023), exports amounted to about 49 million tons of cereals and legumes.
