Ukraine has doubled its sales of green electricity.

In September, the State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer sold 356,000 MWh of electricity from renewable sources for UAH 1.1B. This is 2.2 times more than in August, the press service of the state-owned enterprise reported. The weighted average selling price was UAH 3,082.52 per MWh. In August, the Guaranteed Buyer sold 162,000 MWh for UAH 406M. As a result of 12 green auctions held in September, 327 contracts were concluded compared to 147 contracts in August. The Guaranteed Buyer is an intermediary between producers of electricity from renewable sources and buyers of such electricity.
