Ukraine exported 3.8 million tons of agricultural products in the first half of March.

As the Ministry of Agrarian Policy notes, this is 100,000 tons more than in the last 15 days of February. The volume of agricultural exports for the first 15 days of March is comprised of 53.3% corn, 21.7% wheat, 6.5% sunflower oil, 5.9% beans, 4.3% meal, 4% barley, 2.8% sunflower seeds, 1.04% rapeseed, and 0.4% soybean oil.

The ministry notes that the grain supply at the beginning of the season amounted to more than 70 million tons due to the large transitional balances that Ukraine formed due to the war when export was impossible. Since July, the beginning of the new season, 34.8 million tons of wheat, corn, and barley have left Ukraine.

The annual production in Ukraine is 17.6 million tons, which is enough for domestic needs and export, creating a positive currency exchange dynamic and preventing the national currency from falling.
