Ukraine calls on the EU to introduce sanctions against the 30 largest banks of the Russian Federation.

The Yermak-McFaul International Working Group called on the EU to introduce sanctions against all state-owned Russian banks from among the 30 largest, including Gazprombank. Discussion of the seventh package of sanctions continues. On the agenda is the inclusion of several Russian banks involved in war financing on the SDN list. SDN sanctions include a complete ban on transactions, except for specific, clearly defined purposes such as banks that have a license to conduct foreign trade. The main measure of the seventh package of sanctions, according to the European Commission, will be a ban on the import of Russian gold.
